A career shaped by the world’s great carnivals
Sharon’s lens has followed the thoroughbred from the lawns of Royal Ascot and Cheltenham to the floodlit nights of Dubai, the storied dirt of Saratoga, and the carnivals of Hong Kong and South Africa. Each destination sharpened a singular pursuit: imagery that honours the horse as both athlete and muse.
Her work blends technical precision with a rare connection to her subjects — an understanding earned over years at the rail and in the yard. It is this trust between photographer and horse that lets a portrait breathe, that catches the turn of an ear or the flare of a nostril at exactly the right moment.
Whether elevating a sales catalogue or composing a limited edition for a collector’s wall, Sharon brings the same conviction: that every horse carries a story worth telling beautifully.

A life lived close to the horse
When she isn’t photographing, Sharon mentors young artists and contributes to equine welfare initiatives — giving back to the community and the animals that have defined her work.
